Set off from Kampala and head south to Kabale. The nine-hour journey will be full of fun, new friends. We will make well-timed stopovers for snacks and leg stretches at the Equator and in Mbarara.
Check-in at the Lodge and settle into your comfortable accommodation for a refreshing warm shower. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner over a campfire and tuck in for a well-deserved rest with anticipation of the next day
After breakfast, you will embark on a 15km hike to experience the neighboring community. Hiking or walking shoes are ideal.
Enjoy a picnic lunch along the trail, surrounded by the serene beauty of the lake. At the trail end, you will enjoy the exhilarating zipline across the lake. This is the moment to put your adventurous style on display, while rope gliding, feet in the water.
Return by boat to Hawks Eye Lodge in time to catch the sunset, get dinner and get ready for a relaxing evening.
Begin your day with a guided nature walk around the lodge’s surroundings. Explore the beautiful flora and fauna and get a glimpse of the local wildlife. If you are up early you will experience the most memorable sunrise from across the lake bathing the islands with its beauty.
